The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) will return to the Albemarle Area for the eighth consecutive year on September 5th and 6th for The River City Bull Bash. We will again future the elite bull riders and bulls of the PBR Enterprise Rent-A-Car Tour. The River City Bull Bash brings together the Professional Bull Riders’ top 70 contestants to battle it out against the best bucking bulls in professional bull riding for a purse over $32,000. The utimate man against beast competion will be held at Melyer Farms Arena. We look forward to many years at this new venue. Each performance features one full go-round of action with 35 bull riders competing. In addition, the top eight highest scoring riders will advance to a final short round each night. Each performance will also feature cowgirls barrel racing, an action packed event with beautiful women and fast horses.
